260409:the TAO's

food, food, food and more food!!! it was all about food weekend!!!
after a nite gaming with "burger's ready" with geradel, we checked out from gurney hotel, proceed to our part 2 gathering for 6 pax at TAO's @ e-Gate with Micheal & Yenny.... and we were starving when the 1st round of food were served...

The Before (12:10pm)

gerry & micheal: YAY!! food comes first, photo later......let's dig in!!

The After (14:10pm)

gerry & micheal were the champions for the buffet lunch, they were still trying hard to finish the dishes after 6th or 7th round.... & handrolls were still on the way at the counter...

aT2 was the winner for the most ice-cream eater... i had 2 scoops of honeydew & 1 scoop of choco choc chip

Not forgetting teddie... ofcos... the cover photo explained the after effect of teddie eating too full...

250409:dine in at the Sire

it was another weekend to gather up with geradel, as they have got a free "honeymoon sweet" at gurney hotel, they invited to join them... (errr.. dudes, but it was a honeymoon suite! why do u need us there?!!) anyway, instead of having expensive and average quality of food at the hotel, we had dinner at The Sire, a Museum Restaurant along King Street. I felt mushroom for dinner, therefore, i ordered 2 pieces of musheroom with lettuces, tomatoes for side line as appetizer & a mushroom soup...

while waiting for gerry's mom's fren to pick up at the entrance, we asked the staff to take a group pic of us... & the signage turned out to be "the SHt" :S

ahh.. this is more like it, but aunty already got her pick up then :P

woo... almost forget to mention.. the walnut brownie was superb!

180409:day out with kaedtales & geradel

Geradel pre-booked kaedtales 3 weeks ago to watch The Fast & Furious 4. So this is the day & i managed to book the movie tickets online & paid via cc, which is 50cents extra charge per ticket, hassel free & most importantly, i get to pick bigger screen cinema + hot seats!

1st try on TGIF on a saturday :P from 3.10pm-4.40pm. i still prefer chillis as the ambience is better & servers are more friendly. However, the Shanghai salad is 1 of the RECOMMENDED ones.. (paiseh, no picture to show that dish)

after movie, we proceed to visit our friend's restaurant named OXO at the shoplots next to QBM, we order garlic bread, salad, borsh soup, lamp shank, submarine sandwich, vietnamise coffee

all looks yummyes.. which to eat first???!!

eventho we were there to do a food testing... but we were so god damn full in the end... check out our empty dishes & glasses on the table + gerry's stomach...heehee
anyway, the head chef mr micheal was on his annual leave, however, very much thanks to him for special arrangement putting extra ingrediences & made us feel at home to slurped up all dishes...

140409:maid's coacher

it has been almost three months eversince our last maid went sent home as she threw her temper during CNY when pan frying tiochew guan-jiang. yea yea yea... & i was being put in the position to coach the new maids in doing the housework & etc.

first replacement was a 45yr-old old lady, named jumati aka ati. she was helpful when ppl are at home but very absent minded. her secret weapon were a bucket of water with 2 cloth soaking in it. she would clean up the whole house including car-wash by using that bucket & cloth....and they were 24-7 soaked daily. so you can imagine the house + car share the same smell. she could even hold the bucket & fell asleep in the living room.

second replacement was a 38yr-old lady, named umi aka YES woman. she was huge with serious face. her specialty was to swallow a big pot of porridge for the share of 5 for breakfast daily & often found sleeping in her room during the sunrise & sunset. by answering YES to any instructions given was very important to her, as YES was the only english word that she knows, eventho she doesnt understand what does YES mean, including any questions/instructions. YES...

third replacement was a 32yr-old, named amina aka takut. she has short hair, big bum and a set of spoilt front teeth in black, which looks as if she has got some vege stuck on them. she walks like an ancent chinese princess 24hrs a day and her favourite slogan is takut. she doesnt read, therefore i took the effort to draft out a schedule for her with a clock illustrated for her to match her duty roaster. unfortunately, she has short-term memory and needed to be reminded constantly for her duty every hour. she is often found sitting at her dining table watching dog fighting over mango in the garden, yet claimed that she is takut to do work that has not been monitored and is takut to stay at home.

anyway, as the agent claimed that the young ones are selected to work in hk/tw, therefore only the elderly are left to serve msia. however, a friend has just got a young maid a week ago in kl, it is easy to coach, hardworking and self motivated too. if it is not becos of having the non-refundable fund with the agent, i guess we should change of agent as i think they have not been honest to the customers.

the routine will go on for the forth replacement later this week, jasmine has already recommended me to establish a new biz line - maid's trainner. not a bad idea at all...

130409:impressive day

it was the unusual monday as it happened to be my most impressive day eversince i stayed in the big house.

it is time for zofox's surfing trip at bali. therefore she left her 2 dotters with trust of me to militery train them to do the right things upon her return in 5 days time. so i started my day at 6am by dropping zofox off at the airport and prepared breakfast for ash, muf & myself. i was 15mins late to work and things already piled up to be completed by noon.

at 12.30pm, drove home to check on lunch preparation by the maid and it was surprisingly well done. cleaned up the dogs' mess and fed them lunch too.

phone calls kept coming in after lunch and problems, deadlines were raised. i can hardly find my head and yet i managed to complete my job tasks by 6pm. mrs doubtfire & shocku wanted to go jusco shopping, thought i would have time to relax myself. However, mrs doubtfire instructed me to go home and prepare dinner of the nite with the maid instead. =(

got home to prepare and cooked dinner for the family, fed ash & muf. did cardio exercise, wiped, combed ash & muf, washed the toilet & etc.

finally i hit the sack at 1am & it was an exhausting day yet impressive.

030409:get to know urself quiz

tried out a quiz online by friends' request.. here you go with the results

Your view on yourself:

You are intelligent, honest and sweet. You are friendly to everybody and don't like conflict. Because you're so cheerful and fun people are naturally attracted to you and like to talk to you.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:

You like serious, smart and determined people. You don't judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren't necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people's eyes.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:

You prefer to get to know a person very well before deciding whether you will commit to the relationship.

The seriousness of your love:

You like to flirt and behave seductively. The opposite sex finds this very attractive, and that's why you'll always have admirers hanging off your arms. But how serious are you about choosing someone to be in a relationship with?

Your views on education:

Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.

The right job for you:

You have many goals and want to achieve as much as you can. The jobs you enjoy are those that let you burn off your considerable excess energy.

How do you view success:

You are confident that you will be successful in your chosen career and nothing will stop you from trying.

What are you most afraid of:

You are concerned about your image and the way others see you. This means that you try very hard to be accepted by other people. It's time for you to believe in who you are, not what you wear.

Who is your true self:

You are full of energy and confidence. You are unpredictable, with moods changing as quickly as an ocean. You might occasionally be calm and still, but never for long.
